Being local, honestly

What being nearby actually changes.

Most “web design in your suburb” pages hint that hiring locally makes your website better. Hiring locally does not, and we would rather say so than pretend.

Being nearby matters for one thing only: somebody has to arrive in person. Arriving in person counts most when you run several locations in one city.

  • Websites and automation work from anywhere

We build, test and deliver websites and automation remotely. Being down the road from you changes nothing there, and we would rather say so. Your locations can sit anywhere in the country.

  • But we can meet you face to face

Being nearby buys you one real thing. You get a first meeting in person instead of a video call. The people who run your sites meet the people who will build what they use every day.

  • Local counts when somebody has to arrive

A machine, a network or an office set-up does not fix itself over email. Somebody has to arrive. With sites around Cape Town, a supplier twenty minutes up the N1 means this afternoon instead of next week.

  • We are actually here

Trevern works out of Durbanville. We are not a branch office, and not a call centre with a local number. The people who scope the job are the people who build the job.

On-site call-out areas

Where we come out to.

We come out by appointment for on-site work at your offices and sites. We cover the Western Cape, and these are the areas we reach most often.

  • Durbanville
  • Bellville
  • Brackenfell
  • Tyger Valley
  • Kraaifontein
  • Panorama
  • Kuils River
  • Parow
  • Goodwood

We cover the rest of the Western Cape by arrangement. Websites, AI and automation are delivered remotely, with no geographic limit. Locations in other provinces or other countries run on the same system as your Cape Town sites.

We list the suburbs for a reason. A group with sites in Bellville, Brackenfell and Kuils River still needs somebody who can reach the quietest site. A supplier in another province cannot get there, and every location pays for the wait.

Straight answers

The questions people here ask.

Are you actually based in Durbanville?

Yes. Trevern is based in Durbanville, in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. There is no walk-in shop. First meetings happen at your head office, at one of your sites, or over a call.

Do we need a local web designer at all?

For the website itself, honestly, no. We design and deliver websites, AI and automation remotely, so being ten minutes away makes no difference. Local gives you two things: a meeting before you commit, and somebody who answers the phone in your own working day.

We run several locations around Cape Town. Does being local change anything?

Being local changes the one thing nobody can do remotely: somebody physically arrives. A website reaches every location from anywhere, and so does automation, but a broken network needs a person in the room. When your sites are spread across the northern suburbs, being nearby means this afternoon instead of next week.

Which areas do you come out to?

On-site work covers the Western Cape, by appointment. The areas we reach most often are Durbanville, Bellville, Brackenfell, Tyger Valley, Kraaifontein, Panorama, Kuils River, Parow and Goodwood. We deliver websites, AI and automation remotely, so locations in other provinces or other countries run on the same system.

What kind of on-site work do you do?

We do set-ups, fixes and upkeep at offices across the Western Cape, and most often in the northern suburbs: machines, networks, printers and backups. Everything is agreed in writing before anybody arrives. On-site work sits inside a care agreement, or under one fixed quote in writing. More on on-site help.

Can we meet before we commit to anything?

Yes, and a meeting is easy to arrange anywhere in the Western Cape. The northern suburbs are quickest. The call costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You get one fixed quote in writing, from the people who would do the work.

What does it cost?

There is no price list, because a group with three locations and a group with fifteen are different jobs. Every job starts with one free call, where we go through how each location runs today. Then you get one fixed quote in writing, and that is the number you pay. How we work.

Talk to somebody nearby.

Tell us what your staff still do by hand. You will get a plain answer from the people who would do the work. Before anything starts, you get one fixed quote in writing.
