Trevern Technologies · For trades, workshops & maintenance teams
The website that wins the call. The automation that sends the quote.
We build websites and automation for plumbing, electrical, building and maintenance teams. Your bottleneck is not a diary. The bottleneck is the quotes you owe, and the calls that ring out while every crew is on site.

Where the money goes
Four ways a trades team loses money.
One missed enquiry is a bad morning. The same four losses happen every week, on every crew. Nobody counts those losses, so nobody sees the money walking away.
-
Every crew is out, so nobody answers
A customer with water coming through the ceiling rings four numbers. They hire whoever picks up first. Every call that arrives while your teams are on site goes to voicemail.
-
The quote you owe from Tuesday
Somebody measured the job and somebody knows the number. Three days later the number is still in a notebook in a van. The customer already has two other quotes in writing.
-
Vans driving out to five-minute jobs
Half your call-outs could be settled with a photo and three questions. The other half really does need somebody on site. You find out which is which after the petrol and the traffic.
-
The invoice nobody chased
The work is finished and the invoice went out sixty days ago. Nobody owns the job of chasing that invoice. Across several teams, unpaid invoices are real money standing still.
From first message to paid invoice
Your website takes the enquiry. Automation does the paperwork.
-
01They message you instead of ringing off
A WhatsApp link goes on every van, every listing and every page of your website. An in-house team puts the same link on a notice at each site. An automatic reply goes out instantly, day or night.
-
02Three questions and a photo, every time
The first reply asks what the job is, where the job is, and how urgent the job is. The first reply also asks for a photo. Whoever picks up the message knows whether to send a van or phone back.
-
03You book a window and send the nearest crew
You confirm a real time window instead of “sometime Thursday”. The job goes to the crew nearest that site. The customer gets a reminder on the morning of the visit.
-
04Quotes, follow-ups and reports go out on time
The quote goes out the day you promised it. A polite nudge follows a few days later. Head office gets one weekly report on quotes, jobs and unpaid invoices.
Straight answers
The questions operations managers ask.
Do you build the website as well?
Yes. The website is the front door that wins the call-out. The automation behind the website handles the enquiry, the quote and the follow-up. More on the websites we build.
Our teams are on site all day and calls ring out. What fixes that?
Customers forgive a fast automatic reply. Customers do not forgive a phone that rings out. A WhatsApp link on your vans, your Google listing and your website answers straight away.
Can the system quote for us?
No, and be wary of anyone who says it can. Trade work is priced after somebody with judgement has seen the job. We automate the admin around the quote, so the number stays yours. More on what automation does.
We are the in-house maintenance team for several sites, not a contractor. Does this still apply?
Yes, and the fit is often better. The enquiry is a fault report from a site manager, not a customer. Every site reports into one place, so nobody hunts through five WhatsApp groups.
Should we put our prices on the website?
Usually not a full price list, because almost no two jobs are the same. State your call-out charge plainly, and say when the quote will arrive. That filters out price-shoppers without pricing a job you have not seen.
Will the system chase unpaid invoices?
Yes, politely, on a schedule you set. The chasing stops the moment you mark the invoice paid. Late payment usually means nobody found the time to send the second reminder.
What does it cost?
We do not publish numbers, because no two of these jobs are the same size. Every job starts with a free call about how enquiries reach you today. You then get one fixed quote in writing before any work starts. How we quote is explained here.
Have you built this for a plumbing or maintenance team before?
No, and we would rather say so than show you someone else’s work. Trevern is new, and you get a fixed price in writing. The website, the domain, the accounts and your customer data are yours from day one.
Start with the missed calls.
Tell us how many teams or sites you cover, and how long a quote takes. You will get a plain answer, and one fixed quote in writing before anything starts. We are in Cape Town and come out to Bellville, Durbanville and Brackenfell.
