Trevern Technologies · Pricing
What a website or automation costs.
There is no price list on this page. The price depends on how much work you want handled, and on how your organisation runs today. Here is what decides the price, and how you get one fixed quote in writing.

The hidden cost
The cost that never gets invoiced.
You already pay for this work. You pay for the work in salaried hours instead of invoices. Here is what those hours look like.
- Someone at the desk answers the same question all day, every day.
- An enquiry arrives at nine at night and waits until Monday morning.
- Someone types the same new hours into four places and gets one wrong.
- A manager rebuilds the same report by hand at the end of every month.
- Customer details sit in a message thread on a manager’s personal phone.
None of those hours appear on a quote. So a company can carry the cost for years and never see the total.
How we price
Why we quote per organisation.
The same request can mean two very different jobs. One company has tidy records and one set of hours. The other company has four managers, four spreadsheets and no agreement between them.
From the outside, the two requests look the same. The work behind each request is not the same. So we look at what you actually run, then put one price in writing.
What moves the number
Six things that decide the price.
You can place yourself on most of these six before you phone anyone. We go through all six on the call. Then we tell you whether your job is a small one or a large one.
-
How many jobs the automation takes on
Each job we automate adds to the price. Bookings, quotes, reminders and reports are four jobs. We count the jobs with you, then quote the jobs you choose.
-
How many locations you run
We count the branches, sites, centres or stores. Then we ask whether every location works the same way. Ten locations that already match cost less than three that do not.
-
How many ways work reaches you
Some groups take enquiries on the website, on WhatsApp and by phone. That is three ways in. Each way in has to end up in one place, so each one adds work.
-
How much of what you have carries over
Sometimes your domain, hosting, photographs and writing carry over as they are. Sometimes a system holds your data and will not hand it back. We check your setup before we quote, not after.
-
How much data has to move
Old records have to arrive complete and in the right place. Moving one diary takes an afternoon. Moving eight diaries out of eight systems takes far longer.
-
Whether we need to come to you
We do most of the work from anywhere. Training your staff in person means coming to you. Trips around Cape Town are easy, and longer trips go in the quote openly.
What the work looks like
Four shapes the work takes.
- 01
The website and the automation together
One website brings the work in. The automation behind the website handles the work once it arrives. Enquiries, bookings, quotes and reminders all run on their own.
- 02
Automation on its own
Your website stays exactly as it is. We automate the work your staff repeat all day instead. Many organisations buy this shape and never ask us for a website.
- 03
A website on its own
A new website, with a page for every location if you run several. Each page carries its own address, hours and map, so Google and Maps can find it. Automation can be added later without rebuilding the website.
- 04
Taking over what someone else built
Your website or your system is slow, broken, or half finished. We tell you plainly whether to repair the website or replace the website. Replacing pays us more, and we still say repair when repair is right.
Most companies start with one shape and grow into another. Which shape fits you is usually clear within twenty minutes on the call.

What is true of every quote.
-
01A free call first
We go through how your team works today, with the people who do the work. We ask what gets typed twice, what gets chased, and what gets missed. The call is free and commits you to nothing.
-
02One fixed quote in writing
One price for the whole job, in writing, before any work starts. The quote sets out what is included and what is left out. You can hand that document to whoever signs it off.
-
03Fixed means fixed
If we get the work wrong and it runs long, we carry that cost. You never get a second invoice to explain upstairs. Ask for something new later and you get a new price in writing first.
-
04Yours from day one
The website, the domain, the accounts, the code and your data are yours from the start. Move to another supplier and you take all of that with you. We keep your work by doing it well, not by holding your logins.
After it goes live
What it takes to keep everything running.
A website needs attention after launch, and so does the automation. We agree that part upfront too. You pay one monthly amount, under one agreement, quoted with the build.
- We host the website and keep every page quick.
- We handle updates, backups and the security work that goes with them.
- We watch the automation and fix anything that stops running.
- We make a change once and the change appears everywhere. New hours, a new staff member and a new site opening all work that way.
- You phone one number when something breaks on a Friday afternoon. You are not chasing three suppliers who each blame the other two.
- There is no notice period. Everything is already yours, so leaving is a hand-over.
Your own team can look after everything instead. That works for us too. We hand over cleanly and show your team how everything works.
Straight answers
The questions people ask about cost.
What does a website or automation cost in South Africa?
The price depends on how much work you want handled and how many locations you run. How much of your current website and data carries over matters too. We answer those questions on a free call, then put one fixed price in writing.
Why is there no price list on this page?
A published price would be wrong for almost everybody reading it. Two companies can ask for the same website and still need very different work. So we spend half an hour finding out, then quote a price we can hold to.
Can we buy automation without a new website?
Yes. Your website can stay exactly as it is. We automate the work your staff repeat all day, and quote that work on its own.
How do we know automation is worth the money?
We count the hours first. On the call we work out how long a task takes and how often your staff do that task. You see the hours saved before you see the price.
We have a budget already. How do we know whether the budget is enough?
Tell us the figure on the call. We will say plainly whether the work you want fits that budget. If the work does not fit, we will tell you what would fit instead.
Do you charge by the hour?
Not for websites or automation. We quote that work as one fixed amount, so a job that runs long costs us, not you. We do charge by the hour for on-site IT work in Durbanville, Bellville, Brackenfell and the rest of the northern suburbs.
Is VAT added on top?
No. Trevern Technologies is not registered for VAT, so the amount we quote is the amount we invoice. That also means there is no input VAT for your finance team to claim back.
Will you discount if we ask?
No, but we will reduce the scope. Taking money off the same job would mean the first price was never real. So we take something out, tell you exactly what you lose, and quote the smaller job.
What does it cost to keep everything running after launch?
You pay one monthly amount, agreed upfront and quoted with the build. That amount covers hosting, updates, backups, security, changes at every location, and somebody who answers the phone. There is no notice period, and you keep the website and the data if you stop.
Can you give us something we can take to finance or to the board?
Yes. After the call you get one document with the scope, the fixed price, the timeline and what happens after launch. The document is written so that somebody who missed the call can read it and decide.
Tell us what your staff do by hand.
Tell us what your staff repeat every day, and what you already have. We will say plainly what the simplest fix looks like. You then get one fixed price in writing, from the people who would build the work.
