Trevern Technologies · For salon & barbershop groups

One website for your group. Automation that fills every chair.

Salon clients book a person, not a shop. We build the website the group is found on. We also build the automation behind the website: booking by stylist, reminders, and a standby list that fills cancellations.

Where the money leaks

Four ways a group loses money.

One lost booking is a bad afternoon. The same loss at every shop, every week, is money nobody is counting.

  • One shop answers, the other does not

A client rings the shop nearest them while everybody there is mid-colour. The client gets voicemail and books somewhere else. Nobody leaves a message to book a haircut.

  • The gap you could have filled

A two o’clock cancellation is not lost, if you reach the right people in the next ten minutes. By the time anyone in that shop has a free hand, the slot has gone. Every shop loses those same ten minutes, separately.

  • Clients book a person, not a business

Someone wants their own stylist, on a Saturday, for a three-hour colour. That stylist is at your second shop that day. A form that only knows about shops puts the wrong person in the chair.

  • Nobody owns the website

Hours differ from page to page, and nobody is sure who owns the website. Head office announces a promotion. Two shops never mention that promotion.

From the bio link to the chair

Your website takes the booking. Automation fills the gaps.

  1. 01They tap the link in your bio

Instagram is where a salon gets found, so the booking starts there. One link for the whole group still puts each client at the right shop. The page opens instantly on a phone.

  2. 02They choose the shop, the stylist and the service

The system knows which stylists work at which shop on which days. A full colour needs three hours and a fringe trim needs fifteen minutes. So every slot offered is a slot that really exists.

  3. 03Confirmation now, reminder before the day

Every shop sends the same message, in the same words. Each message has a one-tap way to move the appointment. A client who can reschedule in three seconds reschedules.

  4. 04A cancellation goes to the standby list

The moment somebody drops out, the standby list for that shop gets a message. First to reply takes the slot. Nobody has to remember to send anything.

Straight answers

The questions group owners ask.

Do we even need a website? Everything happens on Instagram.

The link in your bio needs somewhere to land. That page takes the booking and shows your services and hours. Each shop also needs its own page, with its own address, hours and map. More on the websites we build.

What can automation do besides bookings?

Automation answers the questions your front desk answers all day. Automation also sends reminders, fills cancellations and reports on your quiet hours. You approve anything the system is unsure of.

Can clients book a specific stylist at a specific shop?

Yes, and that is what makes a booking system worth keeping. A stylist who works Tuesdays at one shop and Saturdays at another is only offered where they actually are. Someone booking a three-hour colour only sees times that stylist has free.

If we change a service or a price list, do we have to change it everywhere?

No. You change the price list once, and every shop has the new version. The website, the booking steps and the confirmation message all read from one place.

What happens when someone cancels at the last minute?

The slot goes straight to a standby list of clients at that shop. The first to reply takes the slot. A salon can refill a same-day gap, but only in the first few minutes. More on what automation does.

Should we take deposits to stop no-shows?

Deposits work, and deposits cost you some bookings. One middle path is a deposit only on long or expensive appointments. You set that policy once, and every shop follows that policy.

What does it cost?

A group with two shops and a group with ten are not the same job. So every job starts with a free call about how each shop works today. After that you get one fixed quote in writing, hosting and support included. How we quote is explained here.

Have you done this for a salon group before?

No. Trevern is new, and we would rather say so than invent a portfolio. You get a fixed price in writing, and the website, the domain and your client list are yours from day one.

Start with the empty chair.

Tell us how many chairs you run, and how many slots go empty in a week. You will get a plain answer, and one fixed quote in writing before anything starts. We are in Cape Town and come out to shops across Bellville, Durbanville and Brackenfell.
